April 12, 1928 - June 01, 2023

Glenrose O’Neil-Harper, age 95, of Olympia, Washington, passed away on 1 June 2023.

Glenrose O’Neil-Harper, was born on April 12, 1928, to Ida and James Brock in Kenver,
Kentucky. Glenrose was one of 8 siblings (3 brothers and 5 sisters) who moved to
Saint Ignatius, Montana and was brought up on a farm in front of the Mission Mountain
Range. She loved the farm and enjoyed spending time there with family and friends.
When she was in high school, she went to Spokane to attend Marycliff High school
where she graduated with honors. She went on to study Administration and became
an Executive Secretary for the Bureau of Land Management when she was stationed
in Alaska with our dad. She worked for the military as a GS civilian until retirement in Washington state.

Glenrose, married and had four children, Carol, Mark, Connie, and Teresa. Glenrose
was stationed with her husband in Germany and moved throughout the United States
as a military dependent until they retired in Alaska. After moving from Alaska and
settling in Washington she was widowed and remarried. She loved to travel with her
Airstream and cruising onboard the Holland America line. She clocked more than
500+ days aboard cruise ships exploring different areas of the world.
Glenrose was a very loving and caring mom and grandmother who would lay her life
down for all those she loved. She excelled at coming alongside her members of her
family and friends and supporting them through the many triumphs and difficulties of
their lives. Her number one goal and mission was to improve the lives of others through her love and generosity.

Glenrose loved the outdoors and doing crafts of all kinds including painting, quilting,
crocheting, baking, gardening etc. All the family members have crocheted/knitted
hats, gloves, or scarfs etc. that she made. She would make hats and give them away
to family and those in need. She enjoyed dancing, playing the piano, and playing the
pokacello accompanied by her husband as he played the harmonica. This always brought great joy to the grandchildren.

Glenrose was predeceased by the following brothers and sisters: Jim Brock, June
Primeau, George Brock, Syble Ginsberg, and Helen Stratton. Glenrose is survived by
Martha Brandli and John Brock along with the following children and grandchildren:
Carol Twichel, Mark Twichel, Connie White and Teresa Bruder and the following
grandchildren (Scott Twichel, Laura Twichel; Keith White, John White; Jared Bruder and Jonathan Bruder)

and many wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren who loved her tremendously.
Her legacy of love lives on through her family and friends. Mother, you will always be
in our hearts and we will never forget you. We love you so much. Rest in peace. We will see you in heaven.

There will be a memorial/celebration of life at the ranch in Montana at the end of June.
